In Alpha, we had three products to work on. Because of this, I suggest creating a central design system that can be used for all the products.
We began creating the design system using the Bootstrap 5 UI kit at the request of our tech lead.
At first, we needed to change and add new styles and components to make sure we were ready to start designing. we had a short deadline to start designing because of that first I changed the things that were necessary and didn’t change the components that we could change quickly in future.
Initially, we needed to update and add new styles and components in preparation for the design phase. Given our short deadline, I prioritized necessary changes and left components that can be updated quickly for future revisions.
For example, I conducted research to find the best approach for typography and created separate typography for desktop (large screen) and mobile (small screen) sizes in two languages.
